Around 30 hours from walking out of my house in Norway until walking out of the taxi in Ubud.
Ah! So good to be back. Suprisingly quiet, though. There are even less tourists here than last visit in feb/mar 2005. A lot of stores have closed. Sad...
We had our first night at Honeymoon which was as good as anyone who reccomended it said it would be. The day after we moved down to our favourite location,Ubud Terrace Bungalows and got a great room. The hasselfree joy of returning somewhere is always great, and the mantra 'what did you pay last year'is always a turn-on.
A large monkey walked nonchalantly through the garden just in front of our room yesterday morning, fortunatly I had just finished my fruit salad, so no fighting over bananas.
In a few days we will rent a car and be off to Padangbai and Amed for diving and uh...more diving.
