I am in contact with an American woman in Jakarta, whom hopefully I will meet in the next 4 weeks. She personally knows a German nun who does the most wonderful work and is helping the victims right now.
I have had to cancel my scheduled trip to Yogja next month for my Indonesian students who learn english at my free school. Some of the money I will save from the cancellation I will be donating to this wonderful nun.
Email me and I will give you more details. The American woman said someone was headed to Solo tomorrow to assess what is needed as well.
