In April I checked in at about 6.15pm for my 10 pm flight. Think they might've taken pity on me tho - I was just hanging around forlornly with my stacked up trolley looking hopefully at the check-in guys. After me, they put the closed sign on again - worth trying tho.

I went to the Premier Lounge - it wasn't worth double the price of the Rp100K Prada Lounge (which hubby used a few weeks later). The limit is supposed to be 3 hours. I was the only person there apart from an Indonesian guy glued to the internet, yet they didn't bother telling me my flight was boarding, so I had to ask eventually & I was late on board. I just hate that - the glares!! Food was mediocre, but varied & plentiful. Aussie wine nice. Unlimited alcohol. Showers & loos excellent - nice view & viewing deck, big-screen TVs with cable discretely placed so as not to bother others, lovely comfy lounges, chairs. Foot massages.

Premier is the one up the escalators - right above the departure gate for my flight. Gate 1 I think. For long waits at the airport, you really should use a lounge - it's surprising how few people do.
