keep an eye out for the massive surfie brand sales - when i was there in april there was billabong/elements sale and a volcom sale... i know down poppies there is this shop called struck(?) not sure what i was called but pretty funky stuff... if they are into the craft stuff there is Toko central bead store - THE holy grail of beads in bali

one night take them to bubbagumps and really embarrass them by ordering a margerita (or pretend its someones birthday!) then take them to the bowling alley near there (must book)

quad biking is by far the best tour for extreme teens (although you have to be pretty confidant) i was 16 and was allowed to drive my own bike! it was pouring down with rain and everything was muddy but it was the best fun! they teach you how to drive and have a litttle course to complete before they let you take over, pretty simple to operate (except gears - just stay in 2nd you'll be fine)

if they are into the watersports there is always surfing lessons - i reconmend lessons with the lifeguards - or jet skiing in nusa dua or bedugal... or maybe a bali hai tour to nusa lembongan (with the waterslide!) waterbom is always a sure bet especially the new 'boomerang' the best thrill - but watch out for the photographer...
