If you're flying to Perth on Garuda you are leaving Bali very late. Organise for a 6pm check out from your hotel and transport to the airport. I'd stayed at my hotel for 8 days and they didn't charge me late check out - could've stayed later.
When you've checked in, you can either go out of the airport (altho you're not supposed to) for dinner or whatever OR you can pay to use one of the Lounges at the airport OR you can sit on the hard plastic chairs for hours.
The Lounges have showers, edible snack food, foot massages, unlimited alcohol, cable TV, very comfortable surroundings, internet access and are usually almost empty. Prices vary depending on which lounge you choose, but are around 100K Rp and well worth it. More info if you do a BTF search, as always.
