Just received this from a friend who is in Bali as we speak, lucky thing!!
Hello All,
Just to let you know that we are still alive and loving our time here in
Bali.
We have spent lots of money so if any of you need a loan, you will have to
wait till we save up some more!!!!
The hotel Lokha Legian is excellent and the food is to die for. They paid me
big time to say this (JUst kidding) Our hotel has 47 rooms and is quite new
( about two years old)
We are in a very central spot in Legian and yet our room is so far from
traffic that we hear nothing at night.
We have not been blown up so far but some of the street traders would llike
to kill us because we will not be bullied into paying the prices they ask.
The kids are the worst because when they do not con us they get pretty mad
and I think we have been sworn at a few time but we just smile and say (have
a good one) That makes them even madder!!!!
Trips and cruises are excellent and the massages are sooooooo good. Having the works on Monday and Friday (will look a lot younger so they say
but I think they tell lies!!!)
