email the hotel that you want to stay at and negotiate with them directly or book through an online agent - asiarooms.com or similar.
Lots of people on the forum use a person called mida who is based in bali. I have emailed her a couple of times but for whatever reason she hasn't replied - but others swear by her. just do a search of the forum to get her details.
