The Westin formally known as the Sheraton Nusa Indah is right next door to the Sheraton Laguna. I have personally stayed at the Westin 5 times. It has recently gone thorugh a 5 million dollar refit and looks fantastic. The staff are friendly the pool is big and has a pool bar and a waterfall in it. If you stay at the Westin you can use all the facilities of the Sheraton next door. You can charge your meals from the sheraton back to the westin as they are both in the Sheraton chain so you have twice as many resturants to use and double the happy hours. The room service is excellent. Actually you can not fault anything with the Westin. The staff are fantastic. I personally prefer the rooms at the Westin. They are big, clean and you get to sleep in heavenly beds....ohhhhh....with a pillow menu!
I have not stayed at the hilton. I have also stayed when there is a big conference on and not had any problems with this as all of the people are there to work and therefore it is easy to get a deckchair around the pool.A cab into Kuta is about 20 mins and will cost you around $5 AUD
