been back 1wk got the bali blues already.fri flight was cancelled so we had to fly to sydney sat morn and fly to bali from there.didn't mind to much just as long as we got there!! glad i took extra days off work as i didn't want to lose a day of my time there so we booked an extra 2nights great 10nights in paradise was now 12!!
as my aunt is a newbie to bali we stayed in sanur at the besakih and then seminyak at the pelangi were we have stayed many times.sorry that we lost a night at the besakih will stay longer next time our rooms could do with an upgrade but clean and hotwater so what more do you need we checked out the bungalows there and they were more upgraded but we wanted adjoining rooms and was happy breakfast was good.best meal we had in sanur was at the queen of bali.wednesday offto seminyak the staff at the pelangi always remember us and take good care of us nothing is too much trouble love the pool area sad to see it and the rest of bali so quiet .our 5nights here is now 7!!best meal by far was at the lucky day pub and cuisine just down from the bushmans.best for food, service and great decor (toilets are great frangipanis everywere)cheap too.say hi to ritchie from denise les and aunty. bushmans still has really cold bintang and had lunch there a couple of times and was good.had a good meal at zanzibars(seafood) always go to fabios but disapointed this time seemed a bit overpriced but nice staff and such a lovely setting.flight home was direct to melb great no delays no hassle at customs and garuda is giving us a refund for the night we lost at the besakih.well thats what they said!had a great time newbie (aunty) loved it and wants to go back so now back at work and saving for the next trip to paradise
