Nice new $100 notes are the best - as it is your first trip be a little careful with the money changers - do not go into the small hole in the wall type places with a high rate - the Kodak shops have a good reputation. If you change $100 dollars at a time it is easier to become familiar with the exchange rate - and ask for big notes eg Rup100,000's always check your money before leaving -
