Had great trip over to bali. Flew AA, but had to fly in Qantas plane. The plane was nearly empty and they asked if we would like to travel in the buisness class seats. No question about it. Trip over was excelent. couldnt praise the staff on the flight highly enough.
Got throug customs in 10 mins. VOA was really easy.
Weather here has been a little cloudy for the past few days, but still hot. Went Jet skiing yesterday. 25000rp for 1/2 hour, and we could ride by ourselves. Fantastic fun
Not to many tourists here at the moment, but the locals are still optimistic. Some of the restraunts get p to 25% full and some have no one in them.
Petrol seems to be a bit of a problem with supply. Queues seem to go forever, but every one prepared to wait their turn. Petrol on the street, for motorbikes, doesnt seem to be a problem.Still about 5000rp per litre.
Exchange rate has stayed pretty stable. Around 6950rp per Aussie dollar.
Thanks for the help on the forum re Dolphin leather. Neoman is as good as everyone said. Has made two jackets for us already and they are great.
