We leave on 6th June and I have just bought a camera.I checked out the CHOICE magazine (at the local public library) for their suggestions as to which one to buy.They had a price range $200-$1600 listed and I choose a Canon- which states the guarantee is only valid in the country in which the camera was bought.If something goes wrong, you would have to return to Bali to have it repaired.:):)I don't know if all companies have this clause. When I bought my camera, I checked out the cheapest price and then went to the closest shop with that quote (David Jones) where they matched it.I took the receipt to the lay-buy counter where they did the appropriate paper work for me.Hope this helps.
