I think you are probably refering to the enclosed office with the little parking area out front, opposite the Mentari and La Taverna. We used them when we were in Sanur last October and found them honest and with rates as good or better as any we saw in Sanur. Counting your money was just a formality.
An efficient young lady who was working in a smart boutique told us that's where she goes if she gets any foreign currency.
No, not a Kodak shop, but where I would recommend for anyone staying in that part of Sanur.
