Hi

I flew to Singapore early May this year.

When you get your first VOA into Indo, be mindful of how many days you're in Bali before buying it. Do you need a 30 or 10-day VOA?

As soon as you depart Indonesia your VOA is invalid even if there's weeks left on it.

I'm copying this from another forum. It's parts of my own post-

[I went to the airport and got 3 quotes; Lion Air, Garuda and Singapore. Lion Air was the cheapest by just 300.000rp, Singapore was the most expensive (2.770.000rp). I was going to book with Singapore Airlines just because the difference wasn't that much but the comfort is!

Luckily it was another hot day in Bali and I didn't want to walk all the way back to the where Singapore Airlines is (beside the police station) and planned to book the next morning.

Back on Poppies 2, I saw...Jakarta - Singapore, one way: US104. Return: US$116.

I got a promo flight with Lion Air, Bali-Singapore return for 1.800.000rp.

The trip there is 3 planes, 3 cups of water, no movie, about 6hours. The return trip was just 2 cups of water, 2 plane rides, about 51/2 hours]

Denpasar-Yogyakarta-Jakarta-Singapore: 6am - 12.15
Singapore-Jakarta-Denpasar: 1.15pm -6.55pm

Singapore Airlines: luxury! 2.5 hrs!
