if you buy from here in Australia, you will have your warranty, although I have heard that the warrnaty means absolutely nilch! ALSO don't forget if you purcahse in the 30 day before you leave limit you can claim the tax back, either through the store you purchase from or when you get to the airport. BUT be aware that if you do claim the tax back you have to leave the country with everypart of the purchase including the batteries if you purchased at the same time! You can of course take them out to their packaging to lessen your weight and amount of room in your suitcase.
