Wayan and friends is sensational the service is great the loveliest staff Wayan is fanatical about fresh food and cleanliness if your not happy with something say so!Check out the specials board with the spelling mistakes often sit with Wayan over a few cocktails and have a laugh picking out hes misspelt words which can take on other meanings.I think the forum voted his prawn cocktail the best in bali hes chicken snitzel and steaks are fresh and delicious.The cheese platter with cold cuts is a meal itself then you have the fresh baquettes if your not a big eater go for half size there enormous!!Chicken salad yummy then theres the indonesian food too.Hopefully you will catch up with wayan and if lucky enough he will ask you to join him on the round tables out the front hes a character loves to share jokes and stories he is fanatical about how hes restaurant runs,I know he shops daily for fresh items but hes restaurant is very popular so if theres a few of you book a table.Prices are very reasonable for the standard of cooking(p.s.the mash potatoe is out of this world its a huge serving but never had anything like it)you cant miss his restaurant has a surfboard hanging from the doorway and his name pebbled into the footpath we supervised that at 2am one morning over many drinks couldnt make the japanese understand dont walk on its not set without jumping up and down and scaring them.Youll love the place and the cocktails tell Wayan Im back soon and Ill be waiting down the beach for the morning jog(he will understand and realise who I am)p.s.did you know how famous a surfer he was he says hes too fat for surfing now but Im going to bring him over a bigger board!!
