The fences that are erected on the beach side have the name "Bakrieland" (as in PT. Bakrieland Development)printed on them.
This company was supposedly building the Legian Nirwana (as it was to re-open as ages ago)
I then heard they did not have the money to proceed (don't know if correct)
No idea what construction is going on,but I got the impression that building was going on the last couple of times I went past.
The company has built other Nirwana resorts in Bali
