Just to fill you in and this will be my last post for a while. I have a rare Cancer called pseudomyxoma peritonei which is very difficult to locate and diagnose. That's the first bit of good news that we found it... next is that at this time we are uncertain if the mass is in fact malignant, the next bit of good news for me as this gives me a chance.

They are doing what is called debulking surgery, being a complete hysterectomy, appendix out and a part of my stomach which is apparently useless like the appendix. For those of you who will look this up and be horrified by the internet information remember that I'm in the early stages so still have that advantage. They feel quite sure that if nothing else is dicovered that the surgery will be my ticket out of this living hell.

My kids don't know anything more than the hysterectomy info and that this happens to lots of women. I myself am terrified and living on Valium. many have commented on how brave I am and that's just so not even close to true. I'm just faking it in front of the kids. Behind closed doors all is very different.

Hardly any of my local friends know as I don't want it to filter back via their kids to my kids so it's actually mostly you guys who know.

I'd like to Thank you all for so much love and support. It's meant a lot to me and I do plan to beat this thing and beat it permanently. Win lose or draw in 24hrs it's in a stainless steel bowl and not me so that's a good thing.

I'm hoping to have a week in bali in the very near future and lay in the sun, drink banana juice and get lots of massage. Any takers....
