Hi peoples :) jakarta expat here (aussie) , and going to bali for the first time in 12 years on June 28th (last time was for the senior end of school year trip in 1994 with the international school here in jakarta)
ANYWAYS.... just wondering about BCA ATM access ...are they easy to find there, especially in the NUSA DUA area.. (lucky enough to stay at the grand hyatt...as a 30th b'day pressie from my parents) But dont worry, i know its not the Real Bali or the Real Indonesia !! so wont be in that area except to sleep :)
Also Im looking for a Driver for about two days .. we dont need one that can speak english, im fluent in bahasa, and well my fiancee is indonesian as well, i know he could drive around everywhere, but we would like to help out the locals and hire a driver for a couple of days.. :)
Can anyone suggest any names for us, and contact phone numbers :) basically a driver who doesnt take us to the usual tourist areas (flexible) ... we have no interest in going to museums, or "specialty areas" like Ubud etc and being dragged to view paintings or carvings and the like... we arent coming to shop :)
does anyone know of a tailor that makes Jeans :)
And any basic tips, or places to eat at the nusa dua area (outside of the hotel of course ;)
