I think the places you were planning to stay at sound lovely but maybe you should also spend time in Legian/Kuta if you want some company and don't want to spend all the time on your own. if you change your accomodation to somewhere in Legian, all you need to do is go to the beach to meet people. Go just before sunset and have a few beers at Ketut's Beach Bar - he is a young man like yourself and he has a lot of friends. I think you will meet plenty of other people there and you will probably then be able to hook up with someone to go out with out night. Good place to start anyway. Good luck.
