the same and bought my friend of 10 years over. we got the tourism visa form from immigration in perth and filled most of it out for our friend. Then a friend took over and delivered to him. Applied for visa cant remember cost but not muck like $70 i think. I sent over with it our bank statement, must have at least $30 a day if you are paying financially for him. A letter of invite including what wed do here etc. A copy of our passports. He had to have Family card Original, Identification and passport. Also good to get a letter of leave from employer if he can to show he has more incentive to return. The air ticket is cheaper to purchase in Bali when i was looking. OUr friend got the money sent over through the post office here in Australia and paid for his ticket there. They also need !million Rupiah fiscal tax to leave Bali and the usual 100,000rupiah depature tax. Any more questions pls ask.
