Garuda doing this will simply discourage Adelaide travellers, in particular families from going to Bali at all.
Imagine having to pay the same fare as those in the eastern states and on top of that return domestic fares and taxes.
Good one Garuda, your short term gains from terminating flights in / out of Adelaide will only result in a further decline in the market from SA. I fully understand that finacially it may not be viable for them at the moment but shame on them.
I for one will be reluctant to give them my business out of any Australian capital city if this is permanent. One can only hope that maybe Jet Star will look at departures ex-Adelaide even if going via another capital city.
