Yes it is true, they dont need our gold coins to make rings or braclets.
I spoke to my friends at Peanuts & on the beach about this & they just laughed & said havent I noticed all the gold coins offered to tourists at the airport & in certain nightclubs.
Most of the sellers on the streets will deny it but after you walk away they will come out with a straight rupiah price for the article.
