I have thought about this too, but was put off by the weight - a set of heavy curtains could easily weigh 10kg or more , and how would you fit them into the suitcase , or would you use Bali bags or those candy-striped ones ? Pronb not worthwhile if you had to pay excess but maybe if you could sneak them through or put some in hand luggage .. would be interested too to hear if anyone has done this and how
