and it was one of the best days we had. Small group, good equipment. Really impressice guides, and very thoughtful - they paid lots of attention to how each participant was faring.
There were about five interesting stops, in a total ride of 29km, including an extra bit because our group was going well. It sounds a long way, but it really is nearly all downhill. You don't mention the ages of your children, but I think mine would have been fine with this ride from about 9 or 10, as long as they can ride, and have a bit of traffic sense, and stmiana. That said, the van follows ready to carry anyone who has had enough.
This trip offers so much interaction with village people of all ages, and the insights provided into real life there are a privilege.
Yes, raving a bit, but it is an outing run extremely well by passionate people.
