60-day Tourist Visa - the way to do it!

So glad I found out about this. Coz I was planning to treat myself with an extended trip to Indo later this year - Ideally I want to go over for approx 6 weeks during Dec/Jan. So I was contemplating going for the Social Budaya visa, coz I thought that would be the most appropriate in the circumstances. I mean, I do have an Indonesian friend that could act as sponsor for the Sos-Bud visa, but now I'm thinking, why go through all the hassle of writing sponsor letters etc, when I could just apply for this Tourist visa, for the same price! ($60 AUD)

Thanks jacquiic for ur suggestion to go to the Embassy. Here in Darwin there is an Indo Consulate in town, I will go and see them next week about all this.

This has spurred me on to start planning it all!
