My Male friend and I were sitting at Bahiana on Jalan Dyana Pura last Friday night chatting away and drinking - as you do. A tallish dark guy with long hair came up to my friend, ignored me, and started with "Do you play tennis". My ears pricked up and I just sat there calmy listening while my naive friend who does play tennis went along with the conversation. It was suss!!!! The Tennis Coach asked my fiend for his number and all his details. My friend was staying at The Oberoi which has its own tennis court negating the need to organise a game elsewhere and still the Tennis Coach insisted on arranging a game at The Royal Seminyak. When my friend turned around for a second I whispered "how come he didn't ask me if I play"? We started laughing and he became very upset at me saying "why are you laughing".
We decided that my friend would go and check it out and I would follow in a taxi with a camera. Calls to the Tennis Coach went unanswered as I think he knew his game was up with us becuase I was on to him. He is only interested in Men/Boys and is nervous when questioned. The fact he was trying to get business on "Gay Street" adds to the concern. Think what you will. He didn't have a business card. Didn't talk to me and wanted my friend alone away from his own hotel.
