I agree, it's a the place i always stay at. It's cheap enough, and the room are clean and tidy. I'm not the sort of person that spends time in the room, only there to sleep. The staff are great and you would even know that there were staff there, unless you need something.
There isn't any traffic nice, a great all round hotel. I can't understand spending a heap of money on a room if you aren't going to spend time in it.
They have A/C and what would seem to be an endless supply of hot water, as i find the pool is very cold. It might have something to do with the fact that i live in the top end of WA and any temp under 30 degree is classed as winter time here.
Colleen is right, there seem to be several different standards in there 'standard' rooms, i have only been offered one of those dark room once when i first stayed there. Now, they always give me a room by the pool without asking.
