Great JBR, we shall be getting our fix shortly. I'm interested in the fixed price taxi. We're off a week tomorrow, we have always used transfers to get to Sanur and this time we are going to use the desk at airport. How much did you pay? Pam (Burti) has recently written that they tried to rip her off at the desk, she was going to Tuban? I know last year we paid 100,00rp for 4 of us in a clapped out van to go from the Mercure Resort (next door to Sanur Beach Hotel) to airport. Typical of that Resort to arrange that type of vehicle for us. Thought it was a rip off. I know charges have gone up since last year because of cost of fuel.
Re Donald's in the street, I didn't think it was there anymore. I know it was there in 2003 but I thought in 2004 it had been turned into a store. Where abouts is it, just curious? We mainly eat at Donald's on the beach. The waiting staff know us and we get a great welcome. Mind you only 3 there last year that we knew. Wonder how many this year? Will be at the Cat and Fiddle for the Tuesday night.
