I wouldn't recommend Mercure Kuta. I haven't stayed there but stayed at Mercure Sanur Beach last year and what a mistake that was. Travel agent didn't want us to go but I said it was renovated and an Accor hotel so it would be ok. When I told travel agent how right he was, he wasn't surprised. Using another travel agent this year and when I mentioned it was told she'd stayed at the one at Kuta and it was very small rooms and nothing to recommend it. Your parents perhaps could look into joining Advantage Plus and geetting the benefits. Contact me if you like. Kay
