Couldn't resist responding Andy, don't know where you get your "facts" but really, it's better not to just make things up and sprout it as Gospel. Obviously you haven't dropped by & checked for yourself; if you had, you'd soon realize that your comment is so far off the mark, it's downright ludicrous. Do drop in sometime, I'll even shout you lunch, just to prove a point.

And why was it set up? Simple reasons in the main; you'll find a good percentage of the members are heavily involved in some form of humanitarian pursuits in Bali, and as these pursuits cannot be published here or on BFN, we decided an alternative ways to get the word out. Yes, we do have business interests as well, so what? You have to do something to avoid the boredom of living in Paradise; maybe you're a tad jealous that you haven't either the opportunity or the gumption to do the same.

I actually had a good yarn with Ken (he FA on BTF)a few weeks ago, his nose wasn't out of joint, and he understands the reasons why we did our own thing. Plus, it saves Ken having to constantly remind us that we shouldn't promote our passions. Ours are education & the AdoptA widows, and we actively support in some way most other charities, ie; School to School programs, SCBA, Education sponsorships, orphanages, etc. etc. you name it, we'll support it..

If what we do in Bali relates to being cowboys, then so be it, I'm a proud cowboy.

BTW; correct me if I'm wrong, but I gather you're interest in Bali is purely as a tourist? That's apart from your intent in general to knock all & sundry; (yes, I did a search & couldn't find ONE productive comment from you) I guess it's one way to get attention. maybe you didn't get enough of it as a child?

I was a tourist once, then I realized that I could do so much more to assist the people; The warm fuzzies FAR outweigh the few impertinent remarks I get from time to time. Try doing a bit more than slamming people, you'll find people may actually start to like you.

Cheers,

David
