BTF has more contributors and more general info. The other one is more informal and you don't have to watch your step to the same extent to avoid breaching one of the rules. The introductory advice includes "Keep it clean and civil and just have fun". This request has generally been followed and I would say is appreciated by the current members. Membership is entirely open. We pull one another's legs and don't necessarily agree with one another all the time, but so far unnecessary unpleasantness and false accusations have not occurred.
Whilst I don't generally like censorship, I hope that any heavy flaming or trolling which in the future may occur gets swiftly dealt with. But I certainly don't have a problem with people posting photos or links to websites, or links to other Bali forums, including of course links to BTF.
