you can get some now that are very bright colours, hot pink with i am gorgeous printed all over and hearts, blue with frangipanis. The stand out much better when coming off the carousel.
Also, heres the trick with packing them. Put you clothes or other items in a garbage bag inside and wrap the outer of the 'stripey' bag with masking tape. Never had a problem. hope this helps you cheers :-)
