hotel in poppies

can anyone recommend a 2 or 3 star motel in poppies lane that is clean, has a pool, air cond etc. we were thinking about balisandy but have been warned it has gone down hill recently. there is another one quiet near it, cost around $25 aud per night - does anyone remember the name? or any other hotel around the kuta area that is well priced. thanks
