Yes it closed whilst we were there, on the 20th April I think.
Open one day closed the next.
The locals told us it had gone bankrupt.
You cannot go into this lower level at all now. Roller doors at the entrance closed and they were removing the advertising from the building a few days latter, so Id say it will not be reopening as a supermarket at least.
As someone else mentioned there is a great little supermarket next to Greengarden, it has most things and is cheaper than the one at Mattahari. We stopped in there for supplies most days.
