when we stayed at the dynasty we took my son and nephew who where both 5 years old at the time. we had a few debates about this and decided on the family pool view rooms. these rooms are on the ground floor facing the pool. for us this was the best option as the kids were in and out the pool and going to the room every five minutes and wether we were sitting at the room or the pool bar (which was the most likely)i could keep an eye on them. face it the kids will be in the pool at every oppotunity they can. we felt that if were on the first or second floors if the kids wanted to head to the room they would be out of sight, which i was not comfortable with. it was also handy for the rare moments when they had worn them selves out and just wanted to sit back and watch a movie, dad could still sit at the pool bar
