Hi JenPen...
The rooms have 1 double bed and I guess they would provide a roll out for the other bed. They never seem to be overly busy so they MAY let you have the 2 children in 1 room. Another option is they have 1 room - I think it is room number 1 that has a elevated sort of cubby house that they have [in the past] let the children sleep in. It is right outside of your room, a few meters away. The kids would love it!!! Best bet is to email them and ask a few questions...they may let you have a cheap second room.
Bodyboarding wise, Medewi Point is a nice soft breaking wave, but it beaks over rocks that are very sharp. Most of my family, myself included, ends up with a few abrasions every time we surf there. Getting out is fine, coming in is the problem! Alternatively, the beaches left and right of Puri Dajuma have a sandy bottom and would be ok for beginners [under supervision] if the surf is not too big. If the waves are up in size it gets pretty rippy though! Kuta beach is probably the best 'beginner' surf [again only if it is quite small]. Most of the waves in Bali break on coral reef or rocks, Kuta is the 'softest' option. The smallest waves are at the Hard Rock Hotel end of Kuta. My post will probably expire soon, so If you want more info you can email me applepi@aapt.net.au
