Am thoroughly enjoying our meals here, although we have only been here since Saturday, so havent had a chance to get to a lot of places yet!!! Have had dinner at green garden, not bad, the friendly rat there is probably an added value!!
The food at the Dynasty, is delicious, but I dont want to eat there all the time, as there are just too many cheaper and equally delic. places to go. The beer is outrageously expensive at the pool bar, so I went to Makro and bought, amongst other things, a crate of beer, which works out to (incl. the crate) .87 cents each!!!
And bubba gumps, only cause someone else wanted to go there, I myself am not a fan of the place, but Jordy enjoyed it and the seafood meals are yummy, according to my friend!!!
Oh yea, got pulled up coming into Bali, by customs at the airport!!! Cause Im a diabetic I had over 20 packs of syringes, which showed up on their xray machine, of course I forgot all about the chalk mark on the suitcase, in fact I didnt even notice it, as Ive never had any before, of course I had to unpack the whole bloody thing, but as soon as I produced my dr's letter it was fine.
VOA was GREAT, as we didnt have to line up with the other 200 people, BUT I did notice in our queue there was a lot of people who obviously didnt read the sign correctly so they waited in our line, then got told to go and line up in the other queue, bit frustrating for them, but obviously the travel agents arent always telling them what the go is!!!!
As I mentioned in another post, Poppy from Celebs Hairdressing, does REAL hair, hair extensions, you just need to give her two days notice so she can match and order the hair in for you. Im realllllly keen to do it, at 750,000 rup, soooo much cheaper than Aus, but then again, there are sooooo many other things I want as well!!! So am thinking about it.
We've only been here two out of our 60 days so Im trying to pace myself.
Spent the WHOLE day in the pool yesterday, very waterlogged last night, Jordy my 4 year old, is having a blast, but way too tired at night, hopefully tonight he will peak and have an early night, at the kids club at the moment, so Im free!!! yippeeee
