buy in aus cheaper and no probs with warranty i got a canon ixus at kmart and saved 230 cameras became cheaper with the intro of gst but if your going to spend a lot of money on a cam buy duty free and claim gst at airport but make sure you get the proper reciept as friend had trouble with refund as reciept wasnt stamped with abn number or something like that
