But they are grown up now & go with their girl friends. My son & his girl leave at the end of the month& will spend 9 days at the Niksoma & then he heads off on a boat trip with his mates. If you saw the last episode of Bondi Rescue that was him getting towed into those big waves. In the early 90s my brother & i used to take the young boys over to Bali & we would spend all day surfing Ulus. Now some of those boys are on the surfing circiut. Tom Whitaker & Phil Mcdonald are 2 of these boys who are now in Tahiti waiting to surf that very dangerous reef Break.Tom Whitaker & his brother Chris who is the captain of the Waratahs rugby football will join up with my son latter for the boat trip to the Mantawais.My wife who is not a beach person has joined me on the last 5 visits & just loves the place.
