our children are now aged 6months, 6years and 8 years. We have been travelling to Bali with them since the eldest was 16 months. We like the apartments in sanur called paradise plaza suites as they have 2 or 3 bedrooms and a separate kitchen, dining and lounge. Big enough to let the kids play, kids pool with larger pool attatched with water slide, plus another pool. There is a kids play area at the side of the pool with slides etc. The only thing that we find a negative is that its not on the beach, but they have a complimentary shuttle that gets you to the shopping precinct, beach or supermarket. The staff are great and you can buy a discount card that gives you 50% of all food and 25% of beverages about $50US. The food has always bben great there. We also spend a week at the hard rock in kuta because we love the pool and its very central to shopping, beach etc. Before we had the 3rd baby we would get a room with two queen beds and the girls would share a bed. The kids club there is really good and the girls are lovely. We just got back in march and felt safe at all times and took the kids out shopping etc. Have a great holiday.
