People who are afraid to visit Bali are not coming to the Balitravelforum so any answer you get about safety here is obviously biased.
I just got back from Bali and even my driver and clerks at the hotel would not admit that it was safe. They all said that they hope there is not another bomb, but you just never know!
Having said that, I felt fairly safe in Bali just because there were hardy any tourists there! Why would the terrorists waste their dynamite? You'd better go now before Bali gets popular again!
Also, I learned that both bombs where on a Saturday at around 8pm. I think if you avoid very popular areas, you should be fine. It seems that hardly anyone is staying in Kuta these days - all the toursits have moved north to Seminyak. So, in my opinion, Seminyak would be the dangerous area, not Kuta.
