Yes, there is a hospital for psychiatric patients at Bangli. Sometimes when a Balinese wants to say that someone is crazy, they say "Bangli" and put the side of the palm of their hand diagonally across the forehead - indicating half a brain. Once you know this gesture, you see is used frequently, often taking the piss out of we tourists. Listen to the drivers at the airport waiting for fares - they often call out "Bangli" as a destination.
