I have stayed at both. Santika is lovely. The bungalows are near the beach end. Buffet breakfast is great but we tended to eat nearby eg Grenn Garden hotel American Breakfast is about $3. We now stay at the Rani. Thr Rani has less stars but is still great. It is cheaper and we like to spend what we save on accommodation on shopping.
