Hi every one that awswered my last short jbr ... i have finnely had time to sit at the computer to add more so hear go's ...
day 1 a very late flight 3 her late but my Benny was waiting for me on arrivel so made it all worth the while .
we drove stright to a unit that he had hired for us @ 2500 000 rp a mounth not far from Bali deli 3 bd fully furn & a guy that lived in a room of the house that cleaned each day
we stayed there most of the month that I was there only 10 min to Rama from there
the first week was quiet well for me any way just catching up with mates ect & spending as much time together as we could
we whent to munching inn for lunch our first day ... thats the cafe that my mate marie owns just off poppies lane she has gr8 food & well priced , lated that day off to do family catch up with anti Titti she is such a lough
sorry didnt keep a full diry so can't rember every day the first week
but first on the agenda was a new tv ... benny can't go to sleep with out some tv blob after work me i could easy live with out any way we whent arround all the shops in Denpasar till we found a good price 1100000rp for a 21 in samsung tv & a dvd can't rember brand but a goodie that sells for over $900 nzd hear so not bad ha
we ate out the first couple of days as didn't have all the kitchen stuff i wanted
on thired day I said I wan't to cook so of we head for the supermarket 200 000rp later and a boot full of food we head for home & i cooked gado gado he was most impressed so got me to cook most days after that ... LoL ...
mind you I love to cook so no problems
the next night about 6 mates came arround and said they would cook for me took them forever but they did a lovley meal & tought me how to do sambul think thats how you spell ?????
it's very easy to do & you can make as hot as you like
it was about the end of my first week & nearly nippy day so we headed to Java with half of Bali I think the ferry was chocker ... there was 12 of us that whent me the only girl as normal & the only white person on the whole ferry so got many looks
we arrived late & booked into a motel YUK what a dump but all we could find at that time of night ... we then headed to Bennys mates home to say hi & have a bintang or 2 or 3 or 4 got back to hotel about 4am but they all came with us we sat talking till 7am , so as you can imagin didn't see much of the next day
we did get out of bed about 4pm & I was covered with bites which I found out later where those cane mites still have the scairs
we headed to the shops its alot cheeper there that Bali but not much choise didnt buy any thing exiting to tell of just a couple of t shirts
t time again so of to a cafe not much choise but very cheep 20000 rp for 3 to eat
then a game of pool I played to badley as normal but they let me win one game to make me feel good LOL
then of for some bintang again ... we decided about 6pm to find a better hotel & did thank god
then to the local disco what a laugh very dark bunch of drunk teenagers all standing arround the edge like some thing from the 60s so left again & just had bintang at the hotel
next day a good sleep inn again Darwin whent fishing cought 2 tiddlers & gave them away , Benny & I whent for a drive arround to see the sights that didn't take to long .
then back to mates house you gest it more bintang
when we got back to hotel we had a baby herren on out door step so the boys whent off cricket hunting to feed it
when they returned we whent for a midnight feed at a local warung and a ride on a rick shaw that was romantic
next day back to bali we had to sit 4 hrs to get a ferry as every one was heading back again so i became a local & curled up on a piece of ground & sleept
back at our place ya cumphy bed again ... next day more shopping for home this time fridge took alot of looking but got one for 1 mill about 5 foot high so not bad ... we had delivered then whent out to jaya pub for a while well till 2am as thats when the night markets fill up with food & we decided to go buy local to fill the new fridge
we got 2 chickens 2 kg tuna fillets every vegi you can think of & tofu all for 150 000 rp the boot was full ... so home to cook up a storme
next day was of to get the honda Jazz Bennys baby took 3 car sales befor we could find one on hand thats not silver
we got to the yard & they said o yes we have a red one but it needs the kit fitted so you can't have for a week ... i'm sitting trying to keep up with the indo & figger out what they are saying .. when i do I say well why can't we take with out the kit & just come back in a week when it's hear & get it fitted then ...
well no one had thought of that befor & with a hudge smile of Benny he says thats my Jill she good buisness woman I just laugh & think isn't that just whats a normal way to do things
o how life is so diffrent & simple there
well as you can imagin the next few days where filled with driving the baby every where we took all the family out to diffrent places each day no where special just out so Benny could show off LOL
well its now getting to the last week & we still need to find a place to call home & i'm out looking every where with with a friend but Benny kept saying they all to dear , so he got his mates to start looking
we found a house at Dalung wich is 15 min nw og Legian for 17 mill a year no furn but 5 big bd 2 we 2 lounge fully fenced big kitchen & most important a bed for the baby a lock up garage ...
we moved in 2 days befor i left & got all the guys to help .. went out & bought curtons for our room & the lounge windows they cost 850 000 rp fitted & made & only took 3 hrs to do
my last day was of to do visa in legian whent to Bali mode took half hr to do & 25000rp for stamp & sponcer letter done for me by Benny
so as you can see i'm all set to move there by the end of May
just have a few loose ends to finish hear in NZ then of to hot blue skys befor it gets real cold hear

o on a last note the guy at check in that normaly has a good look at my push up bra to let me away with exess baggage was shocked I had non why u got no baggage jill ????
