I have never written one of these before but just wanted to write a couple of things that I just thought others might be interested in.

1. Indonational is the best restraunt in bali. The ambiance, cleanliness, service, prices and not to mention food are really so good that the place is probably one of only a few restraunts in Bali at the moment making money! THe honey chicken is very good. Jalan Padma

2. Had 2hr spa treatment at Margi Spa next to Bounty Hotel. Girls extremely professional and treatment very relaxing. Price was 225000 rp. HArd to even conceive really. Clean shop and lovely atmosphere. Poppies 2.

3. HAve used a tailor I got recommended from the forum the trip before this one adn was VERY disappointed with the results. So this trip I went back to a guy I had discovered several trips ago, adn was extremely delighted with the final results. I had a leather jacket, dress (of which I bought my own fabric from home) adn 2 clutch purses made for 1.1 million apx $160. All made with lining and from NZ leather. these clothes needed no alterations and were of the highest standard I had seen. I think you would be very hard pressed to find a jacket alone for this price in Oz. Chandra tailors, Jalan pantai Kuta

4. Bread talk in Kartika Cnetro. Something I hadn't seen before but I believe is all over asia. I treated myself to a white choc covered croissant and it was devine! All for 5500rp. I very small price to pay for the delicious treat. A very smart person would bring something like that to Oz and make a mint! But in our carb-phobic era who knows.....

5. Seminyak shoppin has really taken off in the past couple of years. I love to shop and was really spoilt for choice. My favourite had to be Margali Pascal Jl Seminyak. Beautiful dresses shoes and beaded tops. Slightly pricy but beautiful and when comparing to home, quite reasonable.

I hope this has given someone some good ideas. If not I hope that it hasn't been totally boring for you to read.
