We've travelled Bali extensively, but not for about 5 years now. We're going back to Bali this June and want to go back to a favourite spot, Padangbai on the East coast. When we last went it was quite a sleepy place, even though the ferry comes in from Lombok, tourists seem to get on the bus straight out to Kuta or somewhere and leave Padangbai quiet (nice!). Just wondering whether anyone has been there very recently - with all the trouble in Bali lately we're wondering if there are still many losmens available there.
