I Got back 2 1/2 weeks ago and stayed in one of the standard rooms. The whole left side of the hotel is demolished where they are doing the new pool. We stayed in room 81 which is right next to the renos and didnt hear a thing. Aircon was fantastic and even though the bathroom was looking a bit old and shabby it did the job nicely. Beds were very comfortable and would definately stay there again. They told us that only 16 rooms haven't been ronovated. The superior rooms didnt look that different to the standard rooms except for a coat of paint and the bathroom looked a bit better. Hope this helps.
