There are also wrap trousers without the slit, which look better on me as Im a little larger. Bought about 5 last year one in every colour. Wear them here all the time - paid about 25,000 each. Saw them at many clothes stores. Check thickness of cotton when buying, some of mine are nice and light, other thicker heavier cloth - both good.
If you cant see them just ask, if they dont have them they'll find someone who does for you. We were looking for ages for a particular bali bag last year and asked at one market stall, the lady said I dont have one but wait I have a friend who does. We waited and waited and she came back breathless with the exact bag - couldnt believe it. She was great, we then kept asking about things we had been searching for and she'd say - I have friend, wait and come back most of the time with what we wanted.
We were so happy even though she didnt have what we wanted, we bought off her friends and then bought from her stall as well. When my mum got to Bali later that week we took her there and she bought stuff as well. Balinese people are just wonderful. Dont know where excatly she was to tell u, but Ill be trying to find her again when we go back this year.
