has caused this cancellation.
To Garuda's credit, even though this may be fixed prior to Tuesday, they introduced "contingency plans" on Thursday. Adelaide pasengers are travelling Qantas ADL/PER on Monday evening with FOC transfers and overnight accommodation at Grand Chancellor Hotel Perth.
They'll get to experience the first of Garuda's "new generation" Boeing 737-800's and arrive in Perth couple of hours earlier.
This is part of Garuda's new Board's attitude of being 100% pro-active when it comes to service levels, regardless of cost to the airline. Can one iminagine this happening even 12 months ago when an "announcement" of flight cancellation would have been made less than 24 hours prior and causing many complications to travelling passengers.
All of our passengers who have been affected were grateful for the notice given and appreciated Garuda's efforts in getting them to Bali without any delay and with "a minimum of fuss" on their part.
Top marks, Garuda!!
